2009-2010 Urban Forestry Club Officers
President—Stephanie Worthington
Major: Forestry (Urban Forestry Option)
Class: 2009
Hometown: Arlington, VA
Professional Goal: To establish, maintain, and manage the parks, forested lots, and street trees in a large municipality, as well as to help incorporate green infrastructure in new development plans as well as city restoration projects.
Thoughts on the Club: I am really excited for the many activities we have planned this year which include helping with the tree plantings on campus during Sustainability Week, attending the MAC-ISA conference held in Ocean City in October, and attending the TCI expo in Baltimore in November. I welcome all new members and am happy to see the many returning members as well.
