Companion CD-ROM has links from Virginia Studies SOL to some 20 appropriate lesson plans as well as to maps and photos. The CD-ROM also contains GIS software with which to create maps from databases stored on the CD.

Atlases may be purchased in sets of 30 paper atlases and one CD-ROM for $30.

Single copies of the atlas cost $1.25 and a single copy of the CD-ROM $26.50. It is also possible to purchase a site license for 10 computers for $210.
