Welcome to the Virginia Geospatial Academy! The Virginia Geospatial Academy was developed by the Virginia Geospatial Extension Program, a partnership between the Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC) and Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) to provide “one stop shopping” for geospatial (i.e. GIS, GPS, and/or remote sensing) training opportunities being held in Virginia. Through this educational portal, you can:

1. Identify geospatial workshops being sponsored by the public and private sectors in your region;
2. Obtain detailed information about scheduled workshops and training opportunities, by directly contacting instructors;
3. Customize your own training requirements in any region of Virginia by contacting suitable instructors associated with the Virginia Geospatial Academy. Instructors will organize training opportunities in Virginia based on your needs.
