Research Project Title & Description
Comparison of coarse fragment content, nutrient concentrations, and
moisture-holding capacities among several Appalachian Mountain soils.
In concert with my advisor and committee, I am examining, by horizon, how
coarse fragments contribute to soil profiles by their relative amounts and
their additions of nutrients and water to the overall soil profile.
