Dr. Bruce Hull, Professor of Forestry
Interest Areas: I am a social ecologist engaged in research and development programs striving to create thriving and sustainable communities. I advise numerous community groups such as LandCare, the Model Forestry Policy Program, Virginia’s Forest Issues Working Group, and USFS Centers for Urban and Interface Forestry, all of which promote sustainable living and land use. Past projects address a wide range of biocultural problems, from restoration to recreation, but mostly involve efforts to heal the fractured forest.
