BLACKSBURG,
June 17, 2003 - The
Center for Forest
Products Marketing
and Management will
present a new short
course, “Customer
Service Training.”
The
course will be held
on Thursday, October
23 at the Donaldson
Brown Hotel and Conference
Center on Virginia
Tech's Blacksburg
campus. This course
will be directed toward
new employees in customer
service or those who
are re-entering the
field and want to
understand new information
that is available
to assist them. Topics
covered will include
the wood products
industry, marketing
trends, what makes
a good customer service
representative, customer
behavioral styles,
working with sales
people, working with
customers, and communication
skills to assist in
customer support.
