Honors, Co-op, and Study Abroad
- The
Honors Program
is available to students who rank in the top 10 percent of their high
school class and score at least 1300 on the SAT 1 (minimum 620 verbal,
600 math). Upper division students with a 3.5 grade point average
or better are also eligible for the program.
- The
college encourages its students to participate in the Cooperative
Education Program. It is a five year program that alternates
academic semesters with related work semesters. This allows students
to help finance their education while gaining valuable experience
in their chosen field.
- The college encourages interested students to participate in Study Abroad Programs. The college has an exchange program with the University of Melbourne in Australia, the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, and the University of Stellenbosch in the Republic of South Africa. There are additional study opportunities in Nicaragua and Kenya. Students can also fulfill core requirements through programs offered by other colleges within the university. The college is also an active participant in the National and International Student Exchange Program.
