The College of Natural Resources offers five majors, all of which are ranked at or near the top in the nation. The majors are found in three departments.
- The Department of Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences has majors in fisheries science and wildlife science (wildlife science is a good choice for pre-vet students).
- The Department of Forestry has a major in forestry (with options in forest resource management, industrial forestry operations, environmental resource management, and urban forestry), and a major in Natural Resource Recreation.
- The Department
of Wood Science and Forest Products has a major in wood science
and forest products (with options in wood products and forest products
marketing and management).
