• Which map did you use? (note which color composite you used)

• What features did you use to locate your school?

• Where is your home? (describe)

• What are the major land-uses in your county?

• What are the major land-uses near your school?

Now let's see if you can identify the major land-use or cover classes that scientists look for in landscape ecology. First, choose the best map composite for identifying each land-use and then describe the correct color for that land-use. When describing colors, describe only different shades of red, green and blue.
