Objectives:

Demonstrate and describe the general process of photosynthesis
Explore the relationships between the amount of oxygen produced by plants and the amount of oxygen used by humans.

Resources:
Virginia Tech's Forestry Outreach Site has a student section on photosynthesis, "How a Tree Grows- a tree from the air." This section also includes a graph of rising atmospheric CO2 which shows the global contribution of photosynthesis to the earth's CO2 balance.
