Notes: This holly is over 60 feet tall. It is very well shaped, beautiful, and reputedly it was transplanted from the woods on the property by a young man when he left to serve in the military for World War 1. His family had built the house in 1905 adjacent to the family home. They continued to live in the house until about 1960. |
